About a week ago, I was struggling with the decision to prioritize better playability versus adding music and SFX.
I opened up the question to my bootcamp-mates from "Launch a Game!", who pointed out that Music and SFX are a large contributor in the playability and 'juiciness' of a game. Therefore, I should prioritize it.
And they were right! I think I procrastinated that part because of my perfectionism in the game feel through programming, that I lost sight of the big picture.
There's one more release in the making. The stage boss, as it stands, is almost impossible to beat, and it doesn't have SFX. That's the last part of this very early version of the game.
